1. Leg Lifts
“Grab a mat to put down for this particular exercise,” writes Alcantara. “When you’re in your mat, you just take your hands and put them under your buttocks and spread feet about hip-width apart and bend your knees slightly. Then you lift your legs up in the air both and generate a 90-degree angle prior to bringing down your legs . However, ensure your feet do not hit the floor as you bring down your legs up in the atmosphere.” Alcantara recommends four sets of 20 repetitions for this practice.
2. Plank Hold
“With this you will receive into a push up position and ensure your hands are directly under your shoulders. You’ll then hold this position for a minute, rest for 30 minutes and repeat,” writes Alcantara. Alcantara proposes repeating this string until you get to four minutes of board holds.
3. Ab Roller
“With this exercise, you will begin by kneeling on the ground with your ab skates facing you, putting your knees on both sides of the roller,” writes Alcantara. “Then you’ll slowly push the ab roller ahead, stretching your system into a direct line. When you’ve gone as low as you can, roll back to the start position.”
4. Kneeling Rope Crunches
“Using the rope onto a cable fly system, pick a beginning weight that will challenge you (about 30 lbs, but adapt as required),” Alcantara writes. “You will then get to a kneeling position, grab the rope with both of your hands, and put your thumbs in your temples. Keep your hands. You’ll then lower your head into the ground, lowering your buttocks but not letting your heels touch. You’ll then return to the start position. Do four sets of 30 repetitions for this exercise”
Alcantara recommends replicating your ab exercise at least twice a week for the quickest results.
